My name is Pamela Peoples and I am the founder of Peoples Abundant Life. I am a nurse practitioner with a total of 25 years of nursing experience. I graduate from Governors State University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to starting my journey as a nurse, I first had to overcome the stigma of being a teenage parent at the age of fifteen. I did this by focusing on one thing, which was to pave a way for my son. At a young age I learned to overcome the obstacles, I faced in life, by having faith in God, as well as believing in myself. I will never say my journey was easy; however, I will always stress that with faith, discipline, commitment, and dedication, accomplishing your dreams are possible. Despite having a successful career, I continued to feel empty, lonely and lost. Although I had the essentials to live, I never had the love I needed to grow into a whole person. I realized “I was living in a state of broken consciousness.” I was well into my adult years when I finally realized what I was missing my entire life. I missed being loved, supported, and encouraged by my family. I know that, if I had someone in my life who loved me, encouraged me, and supported me, my life would have not been so sad and lonely. My past life is the reason I am so passionate about helping those who are currently feeling like I once felt.
